Stereophotogrammetry
Stereophotogrammetry is an umbrella term for methods to determine the geometric properties of images in a set of two photographs taken from a stereoscopic camera. The use of two images, as in all stereoscopic images, gives a greater sense of depth and perspective than is possible with a single image alone.
Such techniques are increasingly used for capturing physical-world objects in exacting detail, for use within virtual environments.
