Biomaterial Evolution

Biomaterial Evolution is a complex and young discipline concerned with use of heuristic algorithms, and the identification of specific biomolecules to target in a biomaterial, to improve the material's functionality step by step towards having a specific structure and specific properties.

In other words, to evolve a material over time towards having the properties necessary to fill a specific engineering goal.
