Perceptual User Interface or PUI is an ultimate level interface. It is multimodal in the extreme, maximising the bandwidth of interchange between the person and the computer, fully engaging all of the user's senses, and completely immersing.
This creates the situation whereby the virtual world is interacted with no different from the physical world, and all but eliminates any difference between the two.
