Quantitative Electroencephalography
QEEG or Quantitative Electroencephalography, is a variant of EEG in which the raw data from each electrode is never seen by the end users. Instead, all the electrode outputs are mapped into a single 3D model, showing brain activity in real-time.
It?s not used as a VR interface so much as a research tool; a method of truly understanding brain activity in three dimensions, in real-time. As with all methods of neuroprosthesis, the more data that can be gathered, and the greater the fidelity, the more precise the map created.
