Emote

An emote is a show of action or emotion, an expression of feelings or physical intent in a realm where neither are obvious to read.

Emotes usually take the form of words in special markers, and are used extensively where the avatar, or visage is not controlled well enough to show these things, or in worlds where there is no avatar at all.:

*waves to you cheerfully*
::kicks you where it really hurts::
~wonders what the family will think~
How an emote is indicated does not really matter, so long as one style is kept to and agreed upon by all participants.

Emote is a very powerful Role Play tool, to really add depth to an encounter.
