Spod

Spod is a slang word, British in origin, for a person deemed to be a lower form of life, and usually found in chat-rooms, and social-only MUDs. A spod has few friends in RL and uses chat rooms instead, finding communication easier and preferable over the net, yet having no skills beyond aimless, banal chatter, thus contributing nothing to community development.

A true spod will start any conversation with 'Are you male or female?'(or A/S/L or similar)

On top of that, Spods, have little or no interest in how the systems they use work, and tend use low-level premade scripting tools to try and bypass system administrator lock outs, to access their chat rooms, regardless of the damage they may be causing to networks in the process.
