C3
A C3 is a CAVE based system, using the same highly immersive VR as CAVE systems, with the exception that, instead of surrounding the user in a room where the virtual world is back-projected on EVERY surface, only three walls are used, either via adjoining C-Walls, or GeoWall systems.
Sometimes a C3 may be used to create a cockpit like syctem with two C-walls and an ImmersaDesk. In any case, like a C1, and C2, a C3 suffers from limited freedom of movement - you can only move your head so far before running out of feedback displays, although this can be countered with a moving chair or similar system.
C3s are usually presented in a '|_|' like formation, so that the user orientates to the middle wall, with displays reaching out to either side.
